Product Overview

What Is the Atlas Nano?

The Atlas Nano is a vertical platform lift that carries a wheelchair or scooter straight up and down between levels. Users remain fully seated throughout the ride.

It is designed for decks, garages, porches, and elevated entryways where a ramp is not practical and a full elevator is not required.

The Nano uses the smallest tower footprint in its class. That slim profile leaves room for others to use the stairs when the lift is not in use, and keeps the overall look clean and unobtrusive.

It is manufactured in North America and meets ASME 18.1, ASME 17.1, and CSA-B613 B355-15 safety standards. The unit ships with an installation kit and is designed to be ready in less than a day.

What Makes It Different

More Capability Without the Complexity

The Nano handles more height and more weight than compact entry-level lifts, while avoiding the cost and timeline of a full elevator installation.

Slimmest Tower on the Market

At just 20" × 13.5", the Nano's tower leaves room for others to use the stairs when the lift is not in use,the smallest footprint in its class.

Galvanized Steel Construction

Automotive-grade materials hold up in outdoor environments, built for decks, garages, and porches.

Reversible Tower Design

Tower can be configured to fit your specific site layout regardless of staircase orientation.

For a rise of 30 to 64 inches, a ramp would require 30 to 64 feet of horizontal run at a safe slope. Most properties do not have that space, and long ramps are difficult to navigate in wet or icy conditions. The Nano gives you a compact vertical solution that uses a fraction of the footprint.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from the Mini Vista?
The Nano lifts up to 64 inches versus the Mini Vista's 30 inches. It also has a higher weight capacity, galvanized steel construction, and a built-in battery backup, making it better suited for heavier use and taller elevations.
Can this be used outdoors?
Yes. The galvanized steel panels and weather-resistant materials are designed for outdoor environments.
Does it require special electrical work?
No. It runs on standard household power. Proper outlet placement near the tower is recommended before installation.
How long does delivery take?
Orders typically arrive within 7–10 business days from the date your order is confirmed. Delivery is via freight carrier, and the carrier will coordinate a delivery window with you directly.
Does Western Stairlifts install this product?
Yes. If you're located in Utah, Idaho, or Arizona, our team can handle the full installation for you. The Atlas Nano is also designed for self-installation, so if you're outside our service area or prefer to install it yourself, it ships with everything you need to get it done.
